Description of Procedure:
Different modalities are used for surgical hand rejuvenation, the most common of which is restoration of fat using autologous fat grafting where fat from your tummy or thighs are used to plump up the back of the hands. Endovenous Laser Therapy is also used to reduce the veins of the back of the hand with a low downtime. Occasionally, hand tucks can be performed to tighten loose skin.
PLEASE NOTE: Dr Lim believes that hand function should always be taken into consideration and maintained in the course of hand rejuvenation. Due to the complexity of this surgery, it is insufficient to annotate here what is required and a formal consultation with full assessment is crucial before operation.
